Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Wayne, New Jersey, where you will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions, establishing clear and realistic goals for their therapy journey.
• Implement comprehensive care plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise prescription tailored to individual patient needs.
• Design and oversee customized fitness regimens that promote strength, flexibility, and overall wellness, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Motivate and guide patients through their recovery processes, providing emotional support and encouragement to foster their commitment to rehabilitation.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and sports medicine specialists, to create cohesive treatment strategies.
• Track and document patients' progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans based on data-driven outcomes to maximize results.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and anticipated outcomes, ensuring they are well-informed and engaged.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will involve understanding the specific challenges faced by these individuals, such as chronic pain management or post-operative rehabilitation, and addressing them through tailored therapeutic approaches. By providing evidence-based care and empathetic support, you will significantly contribute to improving their functional independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a physical therapy role, specifically within orthopedic outpatient settings.
• No disciplinary actions on your professional license record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and expertise in creating and implementing effective exercise programs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized therapy equipment or techniques related to rehabilitation.
