Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our rehabilitation center, which boasts a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. Each team member contributes to a culture that values compassion and teamwork. Your regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, limitations, and needs to develop customized care plans that incorporate a variety of effective treatment techniques.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to administer individualized therapy sessions, focusing on pain relief, improving mobility, and increasing strength.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive relationship to encourage adherence to treatment plans.
• Create and implement tailored exercise and wellness programs aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and document all findings in a clear and comprehensive manner.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to each patient's care, including referrals to other specialists as appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our orthopedic physical therapy services is on outpatient rehabilitation for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will engage with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic techniques to meet their unique needs and goals, thereby ensuring their pathways to recovery are as effective and smooth as possible.

Qualifications

• Hold a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Possess a valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Maintain a clean record with no disciplinary actions against your physical therapy license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques as well as the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

Experience in managing a diverse caseload in an outpatient environment will be an asset, as will familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance documentation and patient management processes. Additional certifications in specialized orthopedic techniques, such as dry needling or myofascial release, will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
