Work Environment

This position is primarily based onsite at our rehabilitation center in Boca Grande, Florida. Our clinic features a warm and welcoming atmosphere designed to promote recovery and healing. You will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to patient-centric care. The standard work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their personal rehabilitation goals.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions, employing a variety of evidence-based techniques and modalities to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload to ensure comprehensive attention and care for each individual.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to promote mobility and functional improvements.
• Educate patients on effective exercise regimens, lifestyle modifications, and preventative measures to support their ongoing health journey.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, with an emphasis on precision and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to enhance the synergistic impact of each patient's treatment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training, remaining current with the latest practices, research, and trends in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient clients facing musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By fostering a supportive environment and utilizing patient-centered care methodologies, you will help patients regain their independence and improve their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective therapeutic exercise programs.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage patients through encouraging interactions.
• Ability to efficiently use EMR software for documentation and patient management.
• A strong commitment to continued learning and applying best practice methods based on the latest research in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a physical therapy outpatient setting, particularly with orthopedic patients.
• Proficiency in advanced treatment modalities and telehealth practices, if applicable.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary care teams and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
