Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of student mental health needs using standardized tools and clinical judgment to formulate psychosocial diagnoses.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans in consultation with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to promote effective interventions.

• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation, to address specific client issues and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with primary care providers, school staff, and other allied professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each client's care.

• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and make adjustments to treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.

• Assist in the management of psychotropic medications as prescribed, focusing on client adherence, side effects, and overall treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a wide range of mental health issues that can impact their academic performance and personal development. You will provide support for anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family-related issues, facilitating a safe space for students to express their feelings and work through their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of one year of post-licensure experience as an independently practicing therapist.
