Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate and document the severity of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized measurement tools and personal interviews.

• Develop individualized and actionable treatment plans in collaboration with clients that set clear, achievable goals tailored to their needs and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address and manage mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and management of their conditions.

• Monitor and document clients' progress meticulously throughout the treatment process, adapting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluation and client feedback.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure all aspects of client care are well-coordinated and integrated.

• Stay informed on the latest developments and research in mood disorder treatment to enhance clinical practice and effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards, while also protecting client confidentiality.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and gaining knowledge that can improve therapeutic practices.

• Advocate for clients, promoting mental health awareness and working to destigmatize mood disorders within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.

• Possess strong foundational knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred, we value candidates who show strong potential for growth in this area. Experience with psychopharmacology and a proven track record in achieving positive client outcomes in mood disorder treatment will be viewed favorably. Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to diverse clients are essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, which includes performance-based bonuses and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
