Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

  Conduct thorough intake assessments and prepare comprehensive treatment plans in alignment with state regulations and community standards.

  Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing various mental health concerns and facilitating positive treatment outcomes.

  Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatment progress in accordance with NCQA guidelines.

  Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and allied health professionals to devise and supervise treatment programs tailored to each client's needs.

  Participate in departmental on-call rotation as needed, responding promptly to crisis situations and ensuring client safety.

  Engage and support clients' families, offering guidance on treatment processes and empowering them to remain involved in the recovery journey.

  Utilize community resources effectively to enhance client care, including making referrals to external agencies when required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve supporting a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing acute and chronic mental health issues. You will be instrumental in providing therapeutic support to clients facing challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to complex familial and relational dynamics. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.

• Strong understanding of mental health regulations and best practices in therapy and counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in community health settings or a strong background in clinical mental health counseling is highly preferred. Candidates with proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR) will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques will also enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits\n
