Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions ranging from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to play therapy, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Conduct family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers and fostering healthy family dynamics.

• Collaborate daily with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to create a coordinated, holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to children and adolescents experiencing mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and timely response strategies.

• Educate families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Oregon.

• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, with a proven ability to apply various therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated experience delivering individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, showcasing an ability to build rapport with this demographic.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
