Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to design comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual's specific needs.
• Implement effective and evidence-based physical therapy treatments, such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to reduce pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to ensure continuity of care and adapt treatment plans as necessary based on individual responses.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment protocols, rehabilitative exercises, and the effective use of assistive devices to enhance patient independence.
• Mentor and support new graduates in their professional development, sharing best practices and offering guidance on effective therapy techniques.
• Stay current with industry trends and standards by participating in professional workshops and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population encompassing children and adults across various diagnoses, including post-surgery recovery, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of New Jersey.

• Proficient in computer and word processing skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Flexibility and agility in adapting treatment approaches based on patient progress and feedback.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience working as a physical therapist is preferred.
