As part of our community health clinic, you will have access to a robust support system that includes administrative assistance for scheduling, billing, and patient intake processes. You’ll engage with an innovative electronic health records (EHR) system to document client progress securely, making it easy to track therapeutic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of client needs, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans accordingly.

• Provide tailored therapeutic sessions, including individual, group, or family therapy, utilizing a strengths-based approach to empower clients.

• Document client interactions and treatment progress diligently in our EHR system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

• Participate in clinical supervision and peer consultation meetings to foster an environment of shared knowledge and continuous improvement.

• Advocate for client needs effectively and coordinate services within a wraparound care model to ensure comprehensive support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults, adolescents, and families dealing with a range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. Our clients often face issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, necessitating a holistic and personalized approach to their care. Your role as an LPCC will directly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Active LPCC license in California, with consideration for Associate PCC under supervision (AMFT/ASW).

• A strong foundation in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with a diverse client population.

• A passion for social justice and an understanding of mental health advocacy.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in outpatient, telehealth, or community mental health settings.

• Experience working with high-acuity clients, particularly in the areas of teen and couples therapy.

• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

• Interest in pursuing clinical supervision roles or contributing to program development within the organization.
