Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work within the telehealth setting. As a therapist at Polara, you will enjoy the autonomy to manage your own schedule while adhering to a structured workday from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This digital workspace not only introduces convenience but also challenges you to think outside the box in delivering effective therapy, tailoring your interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions, creating individualized treatment plans that cater to each client's needs and circumstances.

• Maintain a caseload of 25-30 client visits per week, conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions through telehealth platforms.

• Document treatment progress, including ongoing assessments and case notes, in accordance with company policies to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

• Provide exceptional customer service, establishing trust and rapport with clients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to align treatment goals and services.
\n
• Employ innovative and creative techniques in therapeutic interventions to motivate clients towards meaningful goals and personal breakthroughs.

• Coordinate cross-functional services with other health professionals, case managers, and educational staff to support clients comprehensively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Polara Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, couples, and families navigating various emotional and mental health challenges. You will utilize your skills to create individualized treatment strategies that empower clients to address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and trauma.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear documentation and effective interaction with clients and team members.

• Proven ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients while demonstrating empathy and understanding.

• Experience working with diverse populations and demonstrating cultural competency.
\n
• Ability to pass a background check for the safety and security of our clients and community.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in mental health documentation, including treatment plans and clinical case notes.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches applicable to children, adolescents, couples, and families.

• General knowledge of community resources and the navigation of fee collection processes during service.

• A competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
