Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews to develop insightful insights into patient needs.

• Collaborate in a client-centered manner to create individualized treatment plans addressing both emotional and behavioral health goals, considering the client’s unique cultural context.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in individual, couple, family, and group therapy settings.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients in acute distress, ensuring immediate support and stabilization while coordinating with other healthcare professionals.

• Document clinical progress accurately and maintain up-to-date records, including treatment plans and patient notes in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, providing them with essential knowledge to manage their conditions effectively.

• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Conduct outcome assessments to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies as needed.

• Stay current with the latest research and methodologies in mental health to enhance clinical practice and contribute to the overall development of the program.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Driscoll Psychological and Counseling Center, you will work primarily with individuals who have faced various adversities, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW within the state of California.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural and demographic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with clients experiencing trauma.
