Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments tailored to individual patient needs, incorporating psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with patients, ensuring alignment with their unique goals and cultural considerations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), across various settings: individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health distress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, encompassing progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Deliver psychoeducation to patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and providing them with practical skills for effective management.
\n
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care services.
\n
• Regularly conduct outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and adjust plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in mental health, integrating new knowledge into clinical practices to enhance patient care.

• Uphold ethical standards and maintain the confidentiality of patient information at all times.

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including those from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, many of whom have faced significant adversity. Your ability to offer culturally sensitive counseling will be crucial in adequately addressing their unique needs and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Currently hold a valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Proficient in both independent work and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong capacity for establishing rapport with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a mental health counselor. Candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care or experience working with underrepresented communities will be prioritized, as these skills align closely with our mission.
