Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a structured schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. While the majority of sessions will take place during standard hours, some evening shifts may be required based on client needs. This role involves utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy sessions, allowing for a seamless interaction that fosters a supportive counseling environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the needs, goals, and strengths of clients seeking treatment.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that follow evidence-based therapeutic practices tailored to each client.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, utilizing motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to support clients in addressing their challenges.

• Lead group therapy sessions that promote a sense of community and shared experience among participants, enhancing their recovery process.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and addiction specialists to provide comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support for clients experiencing substance-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on addiction, recovery strategies, and available community resources to aid the recovery journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing team meetings, case consultations, and professional development to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in addiction treatment to provide the highest level of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals seeking assistance with substance use disorders. This population may include those struggling with alcohol abuse, prescription drug dependency, and illicit substance use, along with their family members who are also impacted by the addiction. Understanding the complexities of addiction and being able to address the unique backgrounds and challenges of each client is crucial for this role.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related disciplines.

• Maintain current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices for addiction treatment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others overcome challenges related to substance use.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Bachelor’s degree is required, we recommend candidates pursue higher education, such as a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field, as this can expand your clinical skills and impact. Experience with telehealth platforms is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with group therapy facilitation and individual counseling techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
