Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Actively communicating with physicians and healthcare team members to report on patient progress, address concerns, and discuss potential treatment challenges.

• Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes in alignment with department standards. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements to uphold the integrity of our service delivery.

• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans, which may involve complex discharge planning based on psychosocial assessments.

• Providing counseling and crisis intervention for patients dealing with emotional and behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.

• Assisting clients with discharge planning and conducting care coordination by liaising effectively with local providers and resources, enhancing patient access to necessary services.

• Engaging family members and support systems in treatment and discharge formulations to promote a holistic approach to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting a diverse population, including individuals facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to address their unique circumstances and cultural needs. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or other equivalent credential.
\n
• At least three years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of therapeutic practices.

• A proven track record of delivering evidence-based treatment methodologies that enhance patient outcomes.

• The ability to work independently, demonstrating self-direction and exceptional organizational skills within a remote work environment.

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly with MS Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
