Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role offers flexibility and encourages a healthy work-life balance. You will engage with clients primarily via telehealth platforms, which allows you to provide care from a comfortable environment of your choice. Our clinic provides all the necessary tools and technology for seamless communication and documentation, ensuring you can focus on delivering effective therapy in your own workspace. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, designed to accommodate the needs of our clients while allowing you time for self-care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms, including severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorder symptoms effectively.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adapt treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care approaches for clients.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment strategies in accordance with legal standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and stay informed of current best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Advocate for de-stigmatization of mental health issues and support clients in navigating their journeys toward recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse client base, which may encompass various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each demographic will allow you to provide highly individualized support that acknowledges their specific needs and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, specifically CBT and DBT, to create effective therapeutic environments.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology as it relates to mood disorders, enhancing collaboration with psychiatrists and integrated care teams.
