Work Environment

This full-time position is strictly onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in the beautiful city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured workday with dedicated time to focus on patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to recognize the unique objectives and requirements of each patient, tailoring your approach to their specific conditions.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring that you can provide focused, high-quality care and attention.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, to administer effective treatments that improve patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic modalities.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs to support patients in achieving their health goals.
• Foster an encouraging atmosphere to motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, helping them overcome challenges and barriers.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate the best care for patients.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, adjust plans as necessary, and maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient progress and services delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our organization, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your goal will be to support these patients in navigating their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate (MPT or DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, along with experience in crafting and executing tailored exercise programs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; experience with WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in developing and implementing wellness and fitness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits
