Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will take on a variety of responsibilities including:

• Developing and directing individualized treatment plans aimed at relieving pain, preventing disability, and improving or restoring muscle function.
• Overseeing the implementation of care plans by physical therapy assistants, ensuring that rehabilitation goals are met effectively and safely.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients' functionality using specific diagnostic tests and assessments for muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Making recommendations to improve clients' independence within their home environments.
• Administering therapies including manual therapeutic exercises and functional activities, tailored to the needs of each client.
• Providing procedures such as traction and massage, along with the application of various physical agents.
• Collaboratively participating in the ongoing development, review, and documentation of care plans and clinical records.
• Monitoring clients' progress and overall health, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and communicating changes to the healthcare team.
• Educating clients and their families on therapy devices and the home exercise regimen.
• Completing other clinical assignments and responsibilities as needed to achieve the clinic's goals.

Qualifications
