Work Environment

The role is performed onsite, focusing on home care, which allows our therapists to work closely with patients in their own environments. This setting fosters a unique therapeutic relationship, enabling you to assess and improve patient mobility and functionality based on their everyday surroundings. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive care that addresses both physical and emotional health.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their needs, set goals, and design individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities aimed at pain management and mobility enhancement.
• Document patient progress meticulously using WebPT, ensuring continuity of care and clear communication with other healthcare professionals.
• Adjust treatment protocols as needed based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercises, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques to promote long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you'll focus primarily on orthopedic patients recovering from various musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those suffering from chronic pain. You will also work with diverse age groups, providing care for both young and older adults, each requiring a tailored approach for their specific challenges and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active California Physical Therapy license or the eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients and their families.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in orthopedic outpatient and home care.
• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based treatment techniques and navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Experience with patient education and community outreach in rehabilitation settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
