Work Environment

This position is an onsite role within our outpatient physical therapy clinic, specifically tailored for home care services. You will be working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, which allows for a structured schedule while dedicating quality time to each patient. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Postural Therapeutic Outreach Clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of new patients, assessing their medical histories and physical limitations to develop individualized therapeutic plans.
• Implementing a range of treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities aimed at improving pain management and function.
• Demonstrating proficiency in orthopedic treatment protocols, ensuring each patient's rehabilitation process is scientifically supported and focuses on proven methodologies.
• Monitoring patients' progress regularly and adapting treatment plans as necessary, fostering continuous improvement and sustainment of health goals.
• Providing education on injury prevention and wellness, empowering patients to understand their conditions and maintain their health beyond therapy sessions.
• Utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for meticulous documentation and management of patient data and treatment plans.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to align treatment approaches with broader health care goals, always advocating for patient-focused solutions.
• Fostering a positive and encouraging environment that motivates patients to actively participate in their recovery through setting achievable goals.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with a clean record and no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy and the ability to construct effective, patient-specific exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with current best practices in physical therapy and a passion for ongoing professional development to stay abreast of industry advancements.

Compensation and Benefits
