Work Environment

The selected candidate will work onsite in our modern clinic, which is designed for optimal patient comfort and efficient treatment. The work environment is collaborative and patient-focused, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. We believe in a supportive atmosphere where therapists can collaborate on patient care and share insights to enhance treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine individual needs and therapy goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Maintain a dedicated patient load of one client per hour to ensure focused and effective care.
• Utilize strong manual therapy skills to enhance recovery and improve patient mobility.
• Incorporate cost-effective strategies that emphasize non-surgical treatments, minimizing reliance on medications.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Motivate and educate patients on exercises and lifestyle changes to promote long-term health and well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and seamless communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient base consists of individuals with private medical insurance, primarily seeking orthopedic rehabilitation. The clinic welcomes patients with diverse conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and functional movement disorders. This broad spectrum allows you to apply your expertise in orthopedics while adopting varied therapeutic approaches tailored to individual recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Demonstrable manual therapy skills and a strong foundation in therapeutic exercise development.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to document patient care efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing your ability to manage diverse patient cases.
• Experience implementing evidence-based practices that enhance patient engagement and outcomes.
• Exposure to developing wellness programs that are customized to individual patient goals and preferences.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise and commitment, the annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 to 125,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
