Our team of dedicated professionals includes two skilled physical therapists and a passionate physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working together to ensure the highest quality of care.

This full-time role is performed onsite at our advanced rehabilitation facility in San Jose. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' needs and rehabilitation goals, taking a holistic approach to their healing process.
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring personalized attention with a focus on one-on-one therapy sessions typically lasting one hour.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to create and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Employ a variety of treatment techniques to enhance patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Reduce patients' reliance on medications by promoting non-surgical treatment options wherever feasible.
• Inspire patients with tailored fitness and wellness programs, encouraging them to take charge of their health.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize results.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Motivate and educate patients about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, resulting in improved strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse group of patients dealing with orthopedic issues, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to injury prevention. Our patient-centered approach emphasizes individualized care plans that align with each patient's goals, whether it's returning to an active lifestyle or enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist, with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to create effective exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in utilizing WebPT EMR Software for documentation and patient management.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with patients and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to foster patient engagement and motivation throughout the treatment process.
• Experience in developing and implementing fitness and wellness programs that promote patient independence.

Compensation and Benefits
