Work Environment

This position will be based onsite at our rehabilitation center, allowing for hands-on interaction with patients and direct collaboration with fellow healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with muscle, skeletal, and neurological conditions to develop personalized treatment plans that align with physician prescriptions.
• Perform direct patient care, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to address individual needs, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement efforts by actively participating in team meetings, contributing to clinical discussions, and helping to implement best practices.
• Provide education and training to students, interns, and new staff members, ensuring adherence to department protocols.
• Foster a culture of teamwork by effectively communicating with colleagues across departments, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities and adaptability in challenging situations, ensuring prompt resolution of patient and operational concerns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and current California Physical Therapy License is required.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, showcasing a strong understanding of musculoskeletal conditions.
• CPR certification is preferred, but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
