Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that outline clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to facilitate recovery and improve patient mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, usage of equipment, and injury prevention strategies for optimal recovery.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as required to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
• Prioritize and manage your caseload effectively, ensuring each patient receives the appropriate amount of attention and care needed.
• Master rehabilitation equipment and technologies relevant to orthopedic care, ensuring accurate usage according to physician directives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population that includes both adults and children suffering from a range of orthopedic issues, such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be responsible for translating your clinical expertise into meaningful support and guidance, contributing significantly to your patients' rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of California.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• A commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• While new graduates are encouraged to apply, prior experience in an orthopedic setting is a plus but not required.
• Experience with pediatric therapy is also advantageous given our diverse patient base.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package supports the health and wellness of our employees.
