Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our onsite rehabilitation facility, you will work Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our facility is designed to foster a patient-centered atmosphere, equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and resources that will allow you to provide top-tier treatments. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals to engage in comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to recognize their goals and healthcare needs.
• Develop and implement well-rounded treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at improving mobility and enhancing quality of life.
• Deliver individualized care, focusing on cost-effective pain management strategies and promoting non-surgical alternatives whenever possible.
• Administer treatments in compliance with best practices to enhance patients' range of motion, ensure strength improvements, and foster functional independence.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to foster a proactive approach to their recovery.
• Monitor patient progress systematically, adjusting treatment plans based on evidence and outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously in our electronic medical records system, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate and clear records.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, including regular consultations and collaborative treatment adjustments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse population of patients who are seeking rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, and neurological disorders. You will tailor your approach based on the specific needs and backgrounds of the patients you serve, enhancing their overall experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate degree (DPT) in Physical Therapy.
• Possess a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with exercise program design and implementation.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is advantageous.
• Strong skills in motivating and engaging patients are critical to fostering excellent therapeutic relationships.
• A commitment to continuing education and professional development in physical therapy is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
