Work Environment

Your work will be conducted onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center in Dulles, Virginia, where you will collaborate closely with a diverse team of health professionals. Our facility is designed to support an optimal healing environment, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources to enhance patient recovery. Working an average of 40 hours per week, including variable weekends, you will engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance your clinical competencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to understand their functional limitations and disabilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, patient goals, and evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment methods as necessary.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, treatment plans, and strategies to enhance recovery and prevent re-injury.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and billing information in compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides, to enhance team efficiency.
• Participate in staff meetings, community outreach programs, and departmental initiatives aimed at improving patient care and operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Lifepoint, you will primarily work with adult and geriatric patients who present a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
