Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' presenting symptoms, severity, frequency, and personal history related to mood disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating their individual goals, preferences, and evidence-based practices.

• Employ therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders effectively.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families to enhance understanding of mood disorders and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary, fostering a responsive therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals facing a range of mood disorders, such as depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder. You will work closely with clients reporting a variety of symptoms, from mild to severe, and tailor your therapeutic interventions to meet their unique circumstances. This role involves building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that you provide an inclusive environment that promotes healing and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in Washington state.

• Proficiency in evidence-based modalities, primarily CBT and DBT, relevant to treating mood disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and a collaborative spirit to work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• A proven history of positive client outcomes in managing and treating mood disorders.
