Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in community outreach initiatives that promote holistic wellness for birthing individuals and their families.

• Participate actively in clinical consultations and engage in interdisciplinary co-learning opportunities to enhance your clinical skills.

• Ensure all necessary clinical documentation is meticulously completed and maintained according to regulatory standards.
\n
• Provide direct therapeutic services, including comprehensive behavioral health assessments, individual and family counseling, and case management tailored to client needs.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare and mental health professionals to develop integrated care plans that address the social, emotional, and mental health needs of clients.

• Perform any additional tasks as directed that support organizational goals and client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be providing mental health support to Black birthing families, recognizing the unique cultural, systemic, and social factors that may influence their experiences. You will be instrumental in fostering resilience, coping strategies, and overall emotional well-being for these families as they navigate life changes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse, multicultural, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Commitment to self-care, personal development, and willingness to seek assistance when needed.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing telehealth services, particularly to underrepresented populations.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and community engagement strategies.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices in behavioral health assessment and evidence-based counseling methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Flores Behavioral Health Services offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $120,000 to $130,000, contingent upon your caseload and experience.
