Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our center, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capacities and specific rehabilitation goals.
• Perform detailed evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess muscle strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Guide and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing treatment protocols, ensuring all care follows established plans or treatment guidelines.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, including manual therapy, functional training, and the application of physical agents such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate clients and their families on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices to foster increased independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, documenting all findings and changes meticulously in the patient's clinical records.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient care plans and contribute insights during treatment planning sessions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for initial evaluative reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in clinical meetings and professional development activities to continually enhance your knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current physical therapy licensure in good standing in Florida.

• Basic life support (CPR) certification.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
