Work Environment

The Nurse Practitioner will work onsite at a well-respected hospital in Baldwin, NY, known for its commitment to compassionate care and community-focused programs. Our facility provides a supportive environment filled with collaborative healthcare professionals dedicated to making a difference. The work schedule is structured from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with some evening clinics available until 8:00 p.m., and participation in occasional weekend outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings, offering diagnostic and treatment options for both acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Engage with patients in preventive care practices, health promotion, and disease management to improve overall health outcomes.
• Collaborate with local community organizations to develop impactful health education programs that address prevalent health issues.
• Provide culturally competent care, advocating for patients’ rights and equal access to necessary healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner, along with an active state nursing license.

Compensation and Benefits

Blissful Nurse Specialists provides a competitive salary range of USD 180,000 to 200,000 yearly, based on experience and qualifications.
