In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for devising and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to enhance patient mobility, alleviate pain, and optimize functional capabilities through both manual therapies and exercise interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualized therapy by treating 1-2 patients per hour, focusing on their specific needs and goals.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to restore movement and reduce discomfort.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress thoroughly in the WebPT electronic health record system, maintaining the highest standards of record-keeping.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to discuss patient outcomes and adjust approaches as necessary for comprehensive care.
• Engage patients in their rehabilitation journey by educating them on self-management strategies and exercises to perform outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population at our facility includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from active athletes seeking recovery from injuries to elderly individuals aiming to improve their mobility and quality of life. Our goal is to create personalized rehabilitation experiences that cater to the unique needs of each patient, enhancing their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Valid and active Physical Therapist License in the state of California, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Exceptional analytical skills and a commitment to delivering patient-focused care.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an engaging and proactive approach to patient interaction and rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, specifically in orthopedic outpatient care, is preferred. Experience with electronic documentation systems, such as WebPT, is also advantageous as it ensures an efficient workflow and seamless communication with healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 120,000 and USD 130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. This includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan featuring employer contributions.
