Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status, needs, and treatment goals.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, offering a safe and supportive environment for exploration and healing.

• Monitor clients’ progress towards recovery goals, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed to align with their evolving needs.

• Provide referrals and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a varied population, including clients experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will engage with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, requiring culturally competent care approaches and a deep understanding of the different factors influencing mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in the application of evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions with a focus on cultural sensitivity.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Active Path Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
