Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history and identify relevant treatment approaches.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans designed to promote trauma recovery and enhance resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's specific challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care delivery, leading to improved patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support to clients during emergency situations related to trauma.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for additional support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, including survivors of physical and emotional abuse, veterans, and individuals with complex trauma histories. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these clients navigate their healing journey, equipping them with the necessary tools to manage trauma responses and improve their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• Strong basis in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a heartfelt, non-judgmental approach is essential.

• Strong proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and modern computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
