Edge Handling Physical Therapy LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Hackensack, New Jersey. Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite in our outpatient office, which is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and facilities. Our team operates in a friendly and cooperative atmosphere, working from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate must be comfortable engaging directly with patients daily and adapting to a fast-paced setting that requires strong interpersonal skills and clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions by administering comprehensive evaluations to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize patients' specific goals and rehabilitation needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and advanced orthopedic techniques.
• Implement diverse treatment modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities for pain relief, while educating patients about techniques they can use independently.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, providing support and encouragement to help them overcome challenges.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care, including collaborating with physicians, occupational therapists, and sports trainers.
• Maintain clear and consistent documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies and make adjustments while fostering an environment of open communication with patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily services patients undergoing rehabilitation from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care to a diverse range of clients, including athletes, active seniors, and individuals recovering from surgery. Your role will involve tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring they feel supported and empowered at every stage of their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate degree (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in physical therapy, specifically within orthopedic outpatient settings.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management software to maintain patient documentation.
• Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation techniques, including but not limited to, dry needling, Kinesio taping, and sports performance enhancement.
• Demonstrated ability to implement fitness and wellness programs designed for injury prevention and recovery.

• A competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and education.
