Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strengths-based assessments to accurately understand the needs of new patients and their families.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques tailored to client-specific circumstances.

• Timely completion of documentation, treatment plans, insurance authorizations, and billing, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety strategies, relapse prevention methods, and comprehensive wellness plans that promote stable functioning for clients.

• Create, monitor, and support effective discharge plans that facilitate smooth transitions for clients exiting therapy.
\n
• Maintain adherence to federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and Genworth policies and procedures to ensure ethical and effective service delivery.

• Continuously seek opportunities for professional development through training and education to enhance therapeutic techniques and competencies.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes shared learning.

• Complete all necessary licensure renewals and mandatory training requirements in a timely manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and life experiences, including children, adolescents, and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. You will play a critical role in providing tailored therapy that acknowledges and respects the unique cultural, economic, and personal perspectives of each client, allowing for tailored interventions that promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
