Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient's needs for orthopedic physical therapy and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific conditions.
• Deliver exceptional patient care by implementing the prescribed physician's treatment plans, while adhering to industry policies and professional standards.
• Provide cohesive treatment which encompasses patient assessments, treatment planning and delivery, educational instruction for patients and families, and safety procedure implementation.
• Focus on both the prevention and rehabilitation of functional disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Advise patients and their families on effective in-home treatment options, alongside personalized exercises to support ongoing recovery post-therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals by providing them with necessary information to ensure a holistic approach to patient evaluation and treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes aiming to return to their peak performance to seniors recovering from joint replacements. Your role will involve building trustful relationships, motivating patients, and ensuring they understand their treatment journey, thus greatly enhancing their recovery experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited physical therapy curriculum.
• Avalid state Physical Therapy license required; candidates must meet all licensure requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is mandatory.
• Certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR are essential.
• Proficient in treating a wide variety of health conditions and an understanding of rehabilitation practices.
• Effective communication skills coupled with competency in computer systems and documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced rehab environment, indicating strong adaptability and multi-tasking abilities.
• Background in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Expertise in dual roles, providing both hands-on physical therapy and patient education, thus enhancing overall care quality.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
