Work Environment

Our outpatient office features a friendly and supportive atmosphere focusing on patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and rehabilitation needs, developing tailored care plans based on these evaluations.
• Utilize a range of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to enhance patients' mobility and strength.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' unique needs, focusing on long-term health improvements.
• Provide motivation and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation, ensuring they feel supported in achieving their individual goals.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries to maintain accurate and detailed records.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying current with industry best practices and participating in continued education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including athletes, the elderly, and individuals with chronic pain conditions. Your empathetic approach and personalized treatment plans will significantly impact their recovery journeys, helping them return to their daily activities with improved functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's Degree or a Doctorate is preferred.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly with patients who have musculoskeletal injuries.
• Competence in developing patient-centered assessments and treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
