Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Alcentra Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and challenges to establish a respectful and trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique circumstances of clients, ensuring their goals and needs are addressed.

• Facilitating face-to-face therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Providing crisis intervention support and guidance during acute situations, demonstrating strong judgment and prompt response to ensure safety and well-being.

• Maintaining precise and timely documentation, adhering to state regulations to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

• Participating in regular case reviews, team meetings, and collaborative planning sessions to enhance service delivery and strategic initiatives.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development to continually refine therapeutic skills and stay abreast of the latest research and techniques in family and marriage therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will focus on a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various emotional and relational difficulties. You will support clients during pivotal moments in their lives, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and life transitions.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active LMFT license in good standing with the Tennessee state regulatory board.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient or mental health settings, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practice.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions and methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to empathize and build rapport with clients effectively.
