Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments by gathering vital information related to students' emotional, social, and behavioral health issues, employing effective interviewing techniques and collaborating with the educational and healthcare teams.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate students' strengths, weaknesses, and psychosocial needs while considering cultural and spiritual values.

• Employ various therapeutic methodologies, including behavior modification, assertiveness training, and supportive therapy, to facilitate student growth.

• Lead educational and therapeutic groups within school settings, ensuring that the objectives are met and documenting patient progress in accordance with organizational standards.

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with community resources and services to create a holistic support network for clients and their families.
\n
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessment and feedback from clients, teachers, and caregivers.

• Ensure timely documentation of services rendered and case notes in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with students in the K-12 education system facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in supporting students through individual counseling sessions as well as group therapy, addressing both immediate concerns and long-term emotional health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current and active LCSW license in the state of California.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms, with a focus on empathetic and clear interactions with clients.

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and establish appropriate boundaries with clients.
