This position embraces a remote work structure, allowing therapists the flexibility to manage their schedules while providing therapy sessions in the outpatient setting and in clients' homes. The outpatient office serves as a supportive hub where therapy can be tailored to suit the specific needs of each family. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions either in-home or via secure telehealth platforms, tailored to suit the needs and preferences of each child and family.

• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions that address specific behavioral issues, such as anger management and social skills training, aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors like self-injurious actions or physical aggression.

• Enhance decision-making skills for both youth and caregivers to effectively manage behavioral challenges within the home environment.

• Collaborate regularly and effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to create a cohesive support system for families.
\n
• Complete essential documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, within designated time frames to ensure compliance and support client progress.

• Participate in monthly meetings to discuss cases and provide meaningful recommendations that enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this position is on children aged 3 to 20 who experience developmental and intellectual disabilities. The therapist will work with a cross-section of individuals from diverse backgrounds, employing culturally competent methods to provide effective support and care. Bilingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese are highly valued, as they allow for more inclusive service delivery to underserved communities in Oregon.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory.

• You must hold an active and unrestricted LMFT license to practice in Oregon.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during vital after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM), with flexibility on weekends strongly preferred.

• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle are required for traveling to clients’ homes.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in providing positive behavior support to children, especially those with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

• A minimum of two years of experience working directly with children ages 3-20 in therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
