Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting virtual therapy sessions using a HIPAA-compliant platform, ensuring all clients receive the highest level of care.
• Creating a safe, welcoming, and confidential environment that encourages clients to openly share their thoughts and feelings.
• Collaborating closely with clients to establish personal goals, enhancing their overall mental health and well-being.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and challenges.
• Tracking clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
• Participating in team meetings and supervision, contributing to a collaborative approach to mental health care.
• Staying current with best practices in mental health treatment and engaging in continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our clients often seek therapy for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. The focus is on building strong therapeutic alliances and providing tailored interventions that foster healing and growth.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Current and valid licensure to practice independently as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in therapeutic settings, demonstrating an understanding of treatment frameworks and techniques.
• Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to build trust with clients in remote settings.
• Proficiency in using virtual therapy tools and a strong understanding of the dynamics of telehealth.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in evidence-based practice models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be given preference. Familiarity with community resources and effective referral processes will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
