Just Be Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team based in Richmond, Virginia. This full-time position involves providing virtual counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed and culturally sensitive assessments to understand each client’s unique background and needs, adapting therapeutic interventions accordingly.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that focus on empowering clients to cultivate resilience and enhance coping strategies.
• Create and execute safety and wellness strategies, including crisis management plans and relapse prevention measures to support clients through challenging times.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices, adapting approaches to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
• Document client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring thorough and confidential record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with at Just Be Therapy range from children to adults, including couples and families facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive and safe space for clients of all backgrounds, and we encourage our therapists to engage in reflective practices that enhance cultural competency and sensitivity.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required.
• Current and valid licensing in the state of Virginia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop rapport and trust with clients.
• Experience in managing a diverse caseload and adapting therapy techniques to meet individual client needs.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in a telehealth setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with a range of clinical software tools for teletherapy, documentation, and client management.
• Previous work focused on crisis intervention or trauma-informed care is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
