This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to adapt your workspace to suit your needs while reaching students across the Tallahassee, Florida area. Key Responsibilities\n

• Engagement with clients both virtually and in community settings to address symptoms of major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders.

• Conduct brief and evidence-based assessments, as well as arrange for thorough evaluations when necessary.
\n
• Create and implement integrated care plans that ensure continuity of care, facilitating effective communication among clients, caregivers, and service providers.
\n
• Provide crucial crisis intervention and support during emergencies to help stabilize clients and promote recovery.
\n
• Monitor patient progress through regular check-ins, therapy sessions, and by ensuring timely completion of required documentation and assessments.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery, participating in regular meetings and committees focused on quality improvement.
\n
• Comply with ethical guidelines and organizational policies to maintain the integrity of the services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily focus on children, adolescents, and their families who are dealing with various mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. This position requires a compassionate understanding of developmental issues and cultural sensitivities, ensuring that each client feels valued and supported throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a dynamic caseload and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable, particularly with navigating educational systems for advocating student needs.

• Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents, including knowledge of developmental and behavioral issues.

• Prior use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing client information and data reporting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
