Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our Surgical Center, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate various clinical procedures and treatments. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including gathering detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
• Execute minor surgical procedures under the supervision of attending physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate medical records, documenting patient encounters and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients regarding their medical conditions, available treatment options, and recommended lifestyle changes to promote holistic health.
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians to develop and implement tailored treatment plans, prioritizing optimal health outcomes for patients.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and contribute to improving clinical practices within the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population within the community, addressing a wide range of urgent care needs. Our patients often include individuals requiring rapid assessment and treatment for minor injuries, acute illnesses, and other non-life-threatening health issues. You will contribute to the creation of a welcoming and responsive healthcare environment, focusing on building relationships with patients that foster trust and ensure their comfort during visits.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a strong commitment to team collaboration.
• A patient-centered mindset with a passion for providing compassionate care to all individuals.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in an urgent care or outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
