Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions through individual sessions, collecting detailed histories and evaluating their needs.

• Design personalized treatment plans outlining therapeutic goals and strategies tailored to each client, addressing their specific challenges and circumstances.
\n
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions employing a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
\n
• Facilitate referrals to psychiatrists and other healthcare providers when additional support or medications are needed, fostering integrated care for clients.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention, utilizing strong de-escalation skills to assist clients in immediate distress, thereby maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case management and share insights that contribute to overall service improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adults who are experiencing a range of mental health issues. You will work with diverse backgrounds, requiring cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the complex factors influencing mental health in different communities. Issues such as substance use disorders, anxiety, and depression will be prevalent among your clientele, necessitating a versatile and compassionate therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or Mental Health Counseling (LPCC) from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with diverse populations and a variety of mental health diagnoses.
\n
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, psychological treatment methodologies, and evidence-based practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients from varying backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting and managing client care effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy using culturally informed approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
