Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate each patient’s trauma history, ensuring a tailored treatment approach.

• Collaborate with patients to co-create individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building using evidence-based methods.
\n
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address clients’ needs.

• Lead individual therapy sessions as well as group therapy to facilitate healing through shared experiences, coping strategies, and emotional processing.
\n
• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care for each client.
\n
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available support resources during their treatment journey.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to share knowledge and insights on trauma-informed care.
\n
• Stay informed on current research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure alignment with evolving standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will serve primarily encompass those affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, accidents, and other distressing events. Our clients may exhibit a range of psychological conditions, including PTSD, complex trauma symptoms, and other related disorders. Your role is pivotal in providing a compassionate, non-judgmental environment conducive to healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, showcasing an adequate exposure to trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• Strong familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring a steady support for clients.
\n
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications to document patient care.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and the capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies, with additional training or certifications in EMDR or TF-CBT being advantageous.

• A strong track record of working with a diverse clientele, understanding the complexities of individual trauma narratives.

Compensation and Benefits\n
