This full-time role will focus on providing specialized mental health support to diverse clients, particularly Black birthing families. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing our counselors to interact with clients from the comfort and safety of their homes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage actively in clinical consultations and multidisciplinary co-learning spaces to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.

• Complete all necessary clinical documentation accurately and timely to ensure compliance and effective treatment tracking.
\n
• Provide direct mental health services, including behavioral health assessments, individual and group counseling sessions, and comprehensive case management tailored to the needs of our clients.
\n
• Collaborate with prenatal care teams—including medical providers, midwives, doulas, and lactation consultants—to facilitate integrated and quality care.
\n
• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups in collaboration with birth workers to promote community wellness and education.
\n
• Participate in community engagement initiatives designed to foster wellness and support among birthing individuals and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to provide services to Black birthing families, recognizing the unique challenges they may face during pregnancy and postpartum periods. By offering culturally competent and holistic mental health care, our counselors are instrumental in helping clients navigate complex emotional and psychological landscapes, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Active licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California is mandatory.
\n
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across diverse populations and interdisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in using digital tools and telehealth platforms for client engagement and documentation is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with prenatal and postpartum populations, particularly within the Black community.

• Familiarity with community resources and support systems relevant to maternal health.

• Prior experience in telehealth or virtual counseling settings is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
