Position Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for our construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the financial success of our company.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and process invoices for construction projects in accordance with contract terms and project milestones
Review project contracts and documentation to ensure accurate billing and compliance with client requirements
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information for billing purposes
Maintain billing records and documentation in an organized manner for auditing and reporting purposes
Respond to client inquiries regarding billing discrepancies or other related issues in a timely and professional manner
Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting as needed
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline billing operations

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in billing or accounting, preferably in the construction industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g.,Deltec, SAP)
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Prior experience with construction billing processes and familiarity with construction contracts is a plus
