Harmonic Movement Therapies is actively seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in Cape Coral, Florida. In this role, you will be an integral part of our commitment to improving patient mobility and quality of life. You will be responsible for developing personalized rehabilitation plans that cater to the specific needs and goals of each patient, ensuring they achieve optimal recovery.

Located in the sunny climate of Cape Coral, Harmonic Movement Therapies is a modern outpatient facility dedicated to providing high-quality care focused on recovery and rehabilitation. Our spacious 5000-square-foot center is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and dedicated to providing tailored services for various patient demographics, particularly athletes and active individuals. We prioritize a holistic approach to health that emphasizes the interconnectedness of body mechanics and overall wellness.

Work Environment

This position will be onsite at our outpatient office, collaborating closely with a small team composed of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our environment fosters teamwork and collaboration. You will have access to cutting-edge tools such as EMR software, allowing for efficient patient documentation and care management. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which provides a conducive environment for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' physical therapy needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to address specific conditions, ensuring comprehensive treatment approaches, including manual therapy techniques.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Inspire and motivate patients to engage in their rehabilitation journey, encouraging autonomy and self-efficacy.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare specialists to coordinate patient care, share insights, and optimize treatment strategies.
• Monitor rehabilitation outcomes by analyzing treatment results and documenting progress accurately in our EMR system.
• Educate patients on how to enhance their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through personalized fitness and wellness programs.
• Provide services that aim to reduce dependency on prescription medications by exploring non-operative treatment methods.
• Regularly review and improve therapy practices based on the latest evidence and clinical guidelines.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Current and valid state Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• Proficient manual therapy skills to assist in a variety of rehabilitation techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT is essential for efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is preferred, providing you with a useful foundation for managing diverse patient needs.
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills with patients and their families, as well as colleagues from different healthcare disciplines.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
