Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Vibra Diagnostic and Counseling Center, you will:

• Manage a caseload of clients, building trusting relationships while upholding professional boundaries and ethical standards.

• Conduct regular follow-up meetings with clients to review their progress, assess stability, discuss upcoming appointments, and plan discharge as appropriate.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that put clients at the center of the therapeutic process.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of each client's treatment progress and interactions.

• Carry out comprehensive intake assessments to better understand client needs and establish treatment paths.

• Facilitate weekly individual therapy sessions, adapting approaches to fit each client's unique situation.

• Engage in regular individual supervision to enhance your clinical skills and improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will assist clients grappling with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance use issues, and eating disorders. Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential as recognized by the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting after graduation.

• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and listening skills, with the ability to connect with clients on a personal level.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with a wide range of patient populations and mental health conditions is highly desirable, as is familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and trauma-informed care. Having additional certifications or specialties in areas such as substance abuse counseling or trauma recovery would be advantageous.
