Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern outpatient office in Aldie, Virginia, where you will engage directly with patients in a supportive and collaborative space. The work week runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Our clinic caters primarily to individuals with private medical insurance, and we emphasize evidence-based practices to ensure the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and establish clear objectives for physical therapy services.
• Manage a patient load of approximately two patients per hour, allowing for comprehensive and quality interactions.
• Devise and implement innovative treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions and modalities.
• Administer manual therapy techniques and exercise programs to enhance patient mobility and range of motion.
• Promote alternative treatment options to minimize medication reliance and prevent the need for surgical interventions.
• Employ effective communication skills to motivate and encourage patients throughout their recovery journey.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to address complex patient needs and improve overall care.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse group of patients, including athletes and individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions that impair mobility. Your ability to customize rehabilitation plans will be essential in helping these patients regain their independence and return to their active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia is mandatory.
• No disciplinary actions on your license are accepted.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy and exercise program design is essential.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable.
• A history of delivering individualized care and a deep commitment to patient well-being.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits
